Egyptian Blue Lotus Flower Essence: The Soul of the Flower

Egyptian Blue Lotus Flower Essence: The Soul of the Flower

URTH BLUM

There is a preparation older than almost anything we know, one that asks nothing of fire, nothing of pressure or heat. Only water and light.

This is how we make Egyptian Blue Lotus flower essence at URTH BLUM and more specifically, how we make the mother essence: the first and most concentrated capture of the flower's energetic imprint.

What Is a Flower Essence?

Flower essence is not an extract.  It is vibrational signature of a flower at full bloom, transferred into spring water through sunlight and time, then preserved in alcohol (we like to add a little honey too.)

The tradition was formalized by Dr. Edward Bach in the 1930s, but the impulse behind it is far older. Flowers have long been understood as the peak expression of a plant the moment of greatest vitality and purpose. The essence is an attempt to capture that moment before it passes.

What Does It Do?

Egyptian Blue Lotus flower essence is often described as a quality of expanded stillness, an easing of mental noise, a softening of the boundary between thinking and being. Some speak of heightened dream awareness. Some simply feel more present.  It is meant to work more on the emotional and energetic body vs. physical body.
